Asana/Pranayama Practicum*
– Begin the day with an intensive session focused on physical postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama) to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.
Freshen Up & Breakfast*
– Take time to refresh and enjoy a nourishing breakfast to fuel your body for the day ahead.
Theory Sessions*

Understand the human body, its systems, and how they relate to yoga practice.
– *Philosophy:*
Explore the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy, including the Yoga Sutras and key texts.
– *Ayurveda:*
Learn the basics of Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, focusing on holistic health and lifestyle practices.
Lunch*
– Enjoy a healthy lunch break to relax and recharge.
Theory Sessions*
– *Philosophy:*
Continue delving into yoga philosophy, discussing concepts like the eight limbs of yoga, ethics, and meditation.
– *Ayurveda:*
Further explore Ayurvedic principles and their practical applications in daily life.
Asana Teaching Practice*
– Engage in practical teaching sessions to develop your skills as a yoga instructor. Practice sequencing, adjustments, and effective communication.
Disperse*
– End the formal training for the day, allowing time for personal practice, rest, and reflection.

*BLS: CPR Training*
– Gain essential life-saving skills with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, equipping you to handle emergencies.
Sound Healing
– Add on sound healing sessions will be provided on Weekends (With an additional cost)
Fort Kochi: A Serene Yoga Destination
Located in the heart of Kerala, India, Fort Kochi is a tranquil coastal town known for its rich cultural heritage and peaceful ambiance. This charming locale, with its blend of historical charm and natural beauty, is the perfect setting for a transformative yoga teacher training course (TTC). Just steps away, the beautiful Fort Kochi Beach offers golden sands and calming waves, ideal for morning walks and yoga practice. Let the serene environment and soothing ocean sounds elevate your practice and enrich your journey towards becoming a certified yoga teacher.
Materials: The course fee includes two sets of T-shirts and a TTC manual.
Language: The course is taught in English. Please inquire before making any travel plans if you do not have a good command of both written and spoken English.

A minimum combined score of 50% is required to pass.

Meals: Simple Indian vegetarian meals are provided. It is not possible to cater to personal dietary preferences beyond the simple vegetarian meals.

In view of possible difficulties with visas and flights, we recommend that you register only after visas and flights are certain.
Cancellations are accepted up to 3 weeks before the start date with a 10% fee. Requests after this period will be deferred to the next batch.
It is advised to ensure receipt of appropriate visa is possible before registering or booking flights.
What is a 200-hour Yoga TTC course, and who is it for?
Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) is an immersive program ideal for both beginners and intermediate yogis. It provides a solid foundation for teaching yoga, deepening practice, and exploring the yogic way of life. The course covers ancient styles such as Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga, alongside breathing and mindfulness practices. You’ll study adjustment and alignment techniques, yoga philosophy, human anatomy, Yoga Nidra, Mantra, Mudra, and more.
Will The Certificate Issued By Nirvaana Yoga Academy Be Valid In My Home Country or Is certification recognized internationally?
Yes, our 200-hour TTC is approved by Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga alliance International, making it internationally recognized and respected.
Can I join the TTC if I’m new to yoga?
Our course welcomes all levels, making it the perfect opportunity to begin your yoga journey from scratch.
