KRISHNAKUMAR P R

Co-Founder: Ind Yoga International

KRISHNAKUMAR P R

‘Yoga happened to Krishnakumar’ would be the right way to describe his journey!
Krishnakumar started his career as a computer professional in the Middle East, but his interest in Indian culture and disciplines coaxed him to return to his native place. A patron of ancient healthcare disciplines, he then pursued a career in the tourism industry and headed the healthcare tourism section. He simultaneously began learning Yoga and Ayurveda. An ardent practitioner by himself, it did not take him much time to realize that yoga actually helps to deal with the trials and tribulations of modern life. He found himself soaring ahead in his career with application of the new found wisdom. He wanted to explore different dimensions of this discipline and wanted to share the knowledge with others.
Krishnakumar is a ‘Yoga Alliance’ & ‘Ministry of Ayush (India)’ certified Yoga teacher with teaching experience globally, with his students from different parts of the world. Also a certified personal trainer from American College of Sports Medicine and a healer certified from World Pranic Healing Foundation, he has trained many personalities over a decade.
Krishnakumar embarked on a soul-searching journey around the country in search of knowledge to better understand and learn various traditional practices. His interactions and learning sessions with many gurus helped him to evolve himself in a holistic manner. He believes yoga helps in the inner healing of a person, both at a mental and physical level. He uses techniques and exercises to heal through Yoga. A believer of Ayurveda, he supports the notion of combining Yoga and Ayurveda to lead a healthy lifestyle that he imparts in his students too.
Now Krishnakumar has dedicated himself to sharing this invaluable wisdom among students who are genuinely interested in learning this mystic discipline. His classes are a good blend of traditional wisdom and modern scientific knowledge.
Krishnakumar is a resource person who trains yoga aspirants to become certified yoga teachers. He primarily follows Sivananda tradition of yoga, focusing on Hatha yoga, alignment based asana sessions, functional mobility, yoga stretch, gentle flow, guided meditation, strength & conditioning, yoga anatomy and yoga therapy.
